Overflowing with Love
To love is to overflow. Just as a cup cannot contain the endlessness of the ocean, our hearts cannot fully contain the depth of true love. It spills over in every glance, every touch, every moment spent together. And like a cup that is too full, we don’t try to keep it in—we let it flow freely.
Love, like a good brew, needs patience. It requires time to steep, to develop its richness, to infuse our hearts with its flavor. But once ready, it is intoxicating, more than any drink could ever be.
A Cup for Two
When we share love with someone, it’s like sharing a cup for two. We take turns sipping, letting the warmth spread through us. Sometimes, we let them drink more when they need it most, offering our love without hesitation. And other times, they hand us the cup when our hands are too tired to lift it ourselves.
In love, there is no score, no keeping track of who gave what or who held the cup longer. There is only the quiet, unspoken understanding that whatever is shared is more than enough.
The Simplicity of a Cup
In a world often filled with grand gestures and overcomplicated notions of love, there is beauty in the simplicity of a shared cup. It’s a reminder that love doesn’t need to be extravagant to be meaningful. Sometimes, the most profound love is found in the simplest of acts—the brushing of fingertips against a porcelain rim, the soft smiles exchanged over a morning brew.
Love is there, in every cup shared, reminding us that even in the small moments, we are never alone.
